Care & Instructions
Beef tallow is made up of 50% saturated fat, 42% monounsaturated fat and 4% polyunsaturated fat. It also contains Omega 3s, Vitamin A, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Vitamin K, Vitamin B12, CLA, Oleic Acid and Stearic Acid for skin health. Beef tallow is absorbed deeper into your skin because its composition naturally mimics human skin oils for unparalleled hydration and benefits.
-
Your tallow should be kept in a cool/dry location in a sealed jar to reduce air exposure
-
Shelf life is usually 6-9 months, but can be much longer if stored properly in an airtight container
-
No refrigeration is required, but can help keep it good for longer, especially in warmer temperatures or constant changes in temperature
-
Moisture can cause mold and bacteria to your tallow, especially when exposed to excessive temperature changes
-
Tallow is needed in very small amounts and works the best when thoroughly rubbed in
Please note that this is a natural product that does not contain chemical preservatives. As with all natural products, there is no guarantee as to when the product will go bad. Although tallow naturally preserves itself - excessive heat or changes in temperature, moisture, bacteria, air and environmental contaminates can cause premature product shelf-life decline. A rancid smell is an indication this decline is happening.
