Inspirations By Design is a local MI tallow maker. We started making tallow and natural products for our family due to the reactions we experienced from synthetically made products our bodies were not meant to deal with on a prolonged basis. ​
We discovered that tallow lotion not only hydrated our skin, but addressed so many other skin issues that synthetic medications were unable to help us with. Some of which were lifelong issues that were nearly eliminated. Friends, coworkers and family have had similar results with our tallow and suggested we start selling.​
Inspired by God's Design
​​Our GOAL was simply to share our tallow results with others who have similar synthetic related issues. That being said our LOVE is being innovative/INSPIRED with God's natural design to help others with their unique skin preferences. We offer scents most popular among friends and family. However, we do not want to lose sight of why we started making tallow for us and others.

Intentionally Sourced Ingredients
​​​​​​​​​​​Our suet is sourced from organically raised
cattle that are 100% grass fed no grain from start to finish and rotated between pastures planted with custom pasture mix for the best nutrition. No antibiotics or hormones are given and they are GMO free. Our suet is rendered at low temperature without water or bleach and is triple filtered, allowing more of the best nutrients for your skin to “survive”.

We cannot compete with prices of those that may use lower quality essential oils or tallow that is rendered in a large scale manufacturing facility that uses trim fat & lard or those that may include grain feed/feedlot/lard mixed with suet to reduce cost.

OUR STORY
I am a Type 1 Diabetic whose body feels the daily effects of every processed food available shortly after eating it. My body reacts to it excessively through my skin.​ In 2020 I had a stroke. It is nearly impossible to find someone willing to hire a 49 year old after a stroke, even if the doctors cannot find anything that caused it.
After almost a year of physical therapy learning to walk again and no longer having a job, I needed something to keep me going.

I started making natural products for our family due to the reactions we experienced from chemically made products our bodies were not meant to deal with on a prolonged basis. When I was asked to make tallow, I put my recipes to work. However, the stroke has taken it's toll on me, along with almost 50 years of Type 1 Diabetes. My family asked to take my recipes and start a business. And this is how Inspirations By Design was started. I hope it will help others as it has helped me.​
